On this morning's desert excursion from Dubai, you may see stunning scenery while also experiencing the thrills of dune bashing and sandboarding. Add a classic Arabian brunch to your experience.
After being picked up from your accommodation in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, you'll proceed to the desert with your local guide, which is only 45 minutes from Dubai. You'll have around 20 minutes to unwind after you arrive at the Lahbab Desert.
Quad biking, an optional activity, is available for the more daring.
When your 4x4 vehicle is ready, you'll head out into the desert for 30-45 minutes of dune bashing. Feel your stomach churn as the Land Cruiser climbs and descends the tall red dunes. Take a look at how the car handles extremely steep inclines and uneven sand terrain.
An optional quad bike ride can be added to your desert trip. At checkout, select this activity as an add-on and select a bike for yourself or to share with one of your trip companions.
After dune bashing, you'll have the option of trying sandboarding or simply admiring the environment. Take plenty of shots of the beautiful desert scenery.
The following stop is Al Khayma camp, where you will be greeted with traditional Arabic coffee, pastries, and dates.
Then, go to a camel farm to learn about how these creatures play an important role in traditional Bedouin culture. After a short camel ride, you will be returned to your hotel in Dubai.
If you upgraded your trip to include brunch, you will be taken to the Al Khayma Heritage House in Dubai's Al Fahidi Historical District. Enjoy an Arabian breakfast here, with a menu featuring traditional meals, appetizers, and hot and cold beverages (non-alcoholic).
