American actor Jamie Foxx suffered an emergency health problem while filming one of his films with the star Cameron Diaz, which necessitated his urgent transfer to the hospital, according to what his daughter, Cornie Fox, announced in a statement yesterday, Wednesday.
And the statement, which was published by Cornie on her Instagram account, said, “My father, Jamie Foxx, had medical complications yesterday (the details of which were not revealed). Fortunately, due to the quick work and intensive care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
And the daughter of the 55-year-old star added: “We know how much he is loved by you and we appreciate your prayers for him,” adding that “his family requests privacy during this time.” Corney closed the comment feature on her post.
And according to what was published by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, Jimmy was injured while he was in Atlanta, where he was filming a movie with Cameron Diaz.
In turn, TMZ reported that the unknown health ailment that the Oscar-winning star was subjected to was already serious enough to transfer him to the hospital urgently.
He added, “Despite his daughter’s statement that his condition is improving, there is no information yet about when he will leave the hospital or return to photography.”
And the site specialized in celebrity news added that his condition (Jamie) was so serious that the actor’s family came from outside the city to be with him in the hospital.
