You’ll be happy to know that the Dubai Shopping Festival drone show is returning due to popular demand at Bluewaters Dubai.
In this event, drones take to the skies to produce representations of landmarks, brands, and much more, combining technology and art to produce something absolutely unique.
A light show in Ain Dubai will complement the amazing performance
Dubai likes conducting business in a spectacular way and knows how to keep us entertained, whether with the breathtaking fireworks on New Year’s Eve or the popular Dubai Shopping Festival.
The DSF Drone Light Show, a creative partnership between Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishments and the world’s leading technology company Intel, has been attracting both locals and tourists worldwide.
DSF was the ideal choice to host the stunning and distinctive aerial performance, which takes place in the skies above iconic Dubai locations including the Beach opposite JBR, Bluewaters, and the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. DSF is the premier entertainment, shopping, and tourism event of the year.

Every night, a number of hotels, restaurants, and cafés in the JBR and Bluewaters Island area have been inviting guests to see the show by offering fantastic deals on food and drink at featured locations.
As planned, the drones took to the sky, producing images of famous buildings, company logos, and much more, merging technology with art to produce something truly unique.
A light show on Ain Dubai complements the magnificent performance
In fact, a few big tech firms in Dubai, including SKD Drones, AO Multimedia, and Skymagic, have collaborated with leading hospitality and event companies in Dubai to produce breathtaking drone and light shows for the promotion, advertising, and product launches of prestigious brands and events.
The McDonald’s franchise “Meet in Greece”
One of the first restaurant companies to employ this technology was McDonald’s, which collaborated with AO Drones to present a 7-minute drone performance that choreographed a massive McDonald’s logo. Back in 2019, this program was produced for the McDonald’s franchise “Meet in Greece.”
Chef Burak’s famous restaurant drone show
2020 saw the opening of Chef Burak’s famous restaurant in the heart of Dubai. After achieving enormous success in Dubai, he expanded the popularity of his restaurant by working with SKD Drones, one of the top producers of drone light shows worldwide and breaking two Guinness World Records with their performance.
The IT company created a presentation for the chef by utilizing 1,200 drones to fly above Dubai, promoting the chef’s brand name, and using visualization techniques to display his brand logo, Chef Burak’s signature apron, and of course, the most fascinating portrait of the chef himself.

The sky is the limit in terms of what can be done with the shows
The Yas Hotel Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, Atlantis the Palm, and Rixos Hotel are just a few of the prestigious hotel and event firms that have worked with these drone and light tech companies for entertainment, advertising, and event launching purposes.
In order to tell their unique story, the companies can modify the shows to match any scale and any requirements. These shows have the benefit of being engaging, creative, and especially sustainable-no garbage, no noise, no dust.
Since they can be used for product launches, company anniversaries, and special occasions and offer guests and visitors a one-of-a-kind experience, drone light shows are in high demand. The sky is the limit when it comes to what can be done with them.
