According to official announcements, the UAE will end all Covid-19 limitations as of 6 a.m. on Monday, November 7.
The UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on social media on Sunday night that the remaining limitations on masks and the Al Hosn app will be lifted.

The last restrictions, which will be lifted, are described in detail below:
Wearing Masks
All indoor and outdoor settings, including mosques and public transportation, will no longer need mask wear. Masks are still necessary for persons with determination and in medical facilities.
Al Hosn App
The Al Hosn Green Pass is no longer necessary to enter Abu Dhabi’s tourist sites, hotels, and interior public spaces. Al Hosn will only be needed for travel if your final destination demands confirmation of immunization.
Mosque And Prayer Facilities
Praying on a personal mat will become optional.
Sports Activities
Large-scale events and gatherings will not be required to request proof of immunization, but they may do so if they deem it necessary. These will be decided by organizing bodies at the local and national levels on a case-by-case basis.
Covid-19 Facilities
Facilities for Covid-19 PCR testing and treatment will carry on as usual.
Isolation Period
You must still isolate for five days if your Covid-19 test results are positive.
