With more than 94,000 people coming through on February 26, the month saw the busiest day in Terminal 5 since Christmas 2019.
The top three locations were Dubai, New York, and Madrid.
According to a Heathrow spokesperson, passenger traffic between the hub and Dubai was 5% higher in February than it was in the same month in 2019.
Similar to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, where traffic was 90% restored at the same period, traffic between Abu Dhabi and Heathrow was 86% recovered.

Heathrow Airport was informed earlier this month that the passenger costs it charges planes utilizing the UK hub must be reduced.
The Civil Aviation Authority declared that Heathrow, the busiest hub in Europe, could charge a maximum average fare of £27.49 ($32.51) per passenger from 2022 to 2026.
Even though the airport operator said it witnessed the highest growth in passengers of any European airport last year, it recorded an underlying pre-tax loss of £684 million last month compared to a loss of £1.3 billion in 2021.
