The Mobility District, Surreal water feature, and Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City Dubai will be transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland from Wednesday, November 23, to Monday, January 8, featuring pine trees, traditional Christmas markets decorated in the style of a chalet, fun fair games, and a letter-to-Santa station.
The Winter City will officially begin with a glittering event on Friday, December 9, where a magnificent 16-meter tree will be lit up.
The Mrs. Claus Christmas Show, which will run from Tuesday, December 20 to Sunday, December 29, will also be included.
There is still more holiday glam to come. Families can also take part in classes where they can make decorations, bouquets, and gingerbread.
Additionally, a toy factory where you may personalize teddy bears will be present. Visit Santa’s Grotto for hot chocolate, mulled wine, and delicious mince pies that will tickle your taste buds.
If you didn’t know, Expo City is now a family-friendly pet-friendly location, with specific stations providing your pets with free water and goodies.
Additionally, kids between the ages of six and twelve can enroll in the two-week Winter Camp, which will have both indoor and outdoor activities.
Little ones are invited to participate in the festivities, which will run from December 12 to December 23 from 9 am to 2 pm (Monday through Friday), where all of the pavilions will be offering entertaining and educational workshops.
Prices will change based on daily or weekly reservations with possibilities for early drop-off and late pickup.
The Winter City will also be a FIFA World Cup celebration with a kid-friendly Fan City that will host 50 days of events to evoke a festive atmosphere.
A unique concert will be staged on December 2 as part of a National Day commemoration ceremony that will commemorate 51 years since the formation of the UAE and continue from November 30 to December 2.
