One of the busiest highways in the city, Sheikh Zayed Road, will be converted into a huge cycling track on November 6 in preparation for the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
From 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., the Dubai Ride event is open only to bikers who are participating in it. This indicates that no cars will be permitted throughout the race. Road closures will start at 4 am and last until 9 am, according to the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA).
The Dubai Ride by DP World runs continuously from the Dubai World Trade Center to Safa Park and back. The longer of the two routes available to bicycles is this one. There will be closures on the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard portion of the shorter 4-kilometer circuit, which passes the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and Dubai Mall.
Drivers are urged to take Al Wasl Street, Al Khail Road, Al Meydan Street, Al Asayel Street, 2nd Zaa’beel Street, 2nd December Street, and Al Hadiqa Street as alternate routes by the RTA.
Please follow the directional signs to use alternative routes, including Al Wasl St, Al Khail Rd, Al Meydan St, Al Asayel St, 2nd Zaa’beel St, 2nd December St, and Al Hadiqa St, to reach your destination. Thank you for your understanding.
